Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and based on a story by George R.R. Martin, the story centers on a queen who, desperate to satisfy her love, makes a bold move: she sends the powerful and feared sorceress Gray Alys (Mila Jovovich) into the eerie desert of the Lost Lands in search of magical power. The sorceress and her guide, the vagabond Boyce (Dave Bautista), are outwitted and battle a man and a devil.
