The film follows two of New York’s most notorious chiefs of organized crimes, Frank Costello (Robert de Niro) and Vito Genovese (from Niro), while running control of the city streets. Once the best friends, petty jealousy and a series of betrayals put them in a deadly collision course that will remodel the mafia (and America) forever.
